The Director General of the Arab Organization of Agricultural Development H.E Prof Ibrahim El Dukhiri participated in the meetings of the General Assembly of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Vienna, Austria.

 H.E Prof Ibrahim El Dukhiri participated also in a tripartite meeting with the Assistant Secretary General of the League of Arab States who is supervising the Economic Sector and the Director General of the Arab Organization for Industrial Development.

 The meeting reviewed the progress of the joint project currently being implemented in the Arab region in the field of food safety between these three bodies and the UNIDO.

 During his stay in Vienna, H.E Prof Ibrahim also contacted the officials of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) about the prospects for cooperation between them and the AOAD.
