The Director General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) H.E Prof. Ibrahim Adam El Dukheri met the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Egypt and Sudan and the Permanent Representative of Belarus to the League of Arab States H.E Mr Sergei Terentiev , and Mr. Alexei Malavi Consul for Agricultural Affairs in Cairo, on the 6th of November 2019.

The two sides discussed a number of issues of mutual interest and discussed the possibility of cooperation. Both parties agreed on the need to sign a detailed memorandum of understanding that supports the joint efforts between AOAD and Belarus. Moreover, create new horizons by achieving the objectives of AOAD that supports economic and development assistance and increasing the productivity of the land that contributes in achieving food security in the Arab countries.

H.E Prof. El Dukheri congratulated Mr. Terentev on taking over his duties in early October, stressing the importance of cooperation between AOAD and Belarus.
