H.E Dr. Thani Bin Ahmed Al Ziodi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment of the United Arab Emirates, welcomed H.E Prof. Ibrahim Adam Ahmed El Dukhiri, Director General of the (AOAD), at the premises of the ministry on the 17th of October 2017

. Addressing the meeting, H.E Prof EL Dukhiri defined the changes that he achieved in the work mechanisms of the Organization in order to be closer to the needs and priorities of its Member countries. Moreover, he stressed that the organization is keen to promote continuous cooperation and coordination between the Arab and international organizations and finance institutions which support agriculture and environment issues in the Arab region.

H.E Dr Al Ziodi praised the significant efforts of H.E Prof El Dukhiri, which enable the Organization to perform its mission successfully. The minister added that his ministry is working on developing a new strategy for food security and environmental issues. H.E Prof El Dukhiri expressed his willingness to support this strategy and cooperate with the ministry in its developmental strategy.
