AOAD and Croplife have an ongoing cooperation since 1998. Based on their mutual endeavor  and interest the two parties signed  a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in 2005 to materialize  their efforts. Consequently the two parties agreed on some issues including a template agricultural pesticide registration form, a uniform labeling as well as other measures relating to the handling and application of agricultural pesticides applicable in the Arab Countries.

As part of their joint activities in the area of pesticides registration and handling procedures in the NEA the two Parties organized a joint workshop on registration and handling of pesticides in the NEA at the Ramada Hotel in Dubai from 20-21/10/2009. AOAD  was represented in the activity by a delegation comprising Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Haj Hadad – Agricultural expert and Eng. Khalafalla .
