The Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) Director-General H.E Prof Ibrahim Adam El Dukheri, addressed on the 16th of July 2018 the workshop on the results of the feasibility study for the pilot project for livestock exports in the Nile River State which was prepared by AOAD that represented the consultancy house in the agricultural fields.The importance of this study came within the framework of the initiative of His Excellency the President of Sudan Field Marshal Omar Hassan Ahmed Al-Bashir to invest in the agricultural sector to achieve Arab food security, noting that this study came in the framework of a smart partnership and close cooperation between the Nile River State and the Federal Ministry of Finance.

 In his speech, H.E Major General Hatim Al Waseela, Governor of Nile River State, thanked the sincere efforts exerted by his staff to complete this great work, which provided sustainable development and responsible agricultural investment in the country's livestock and agricultural resources.

 At the end of the opening ceremony, H.E Major General Al Waseela thanked the AOAD for the great efforts it exerted in the preparation of this study and the package of valuable technical ideas and opinions that it has provided to the State in the framework of technical consultations related to the strategies and plans for developing agricultural work in the state and the Sudan as a whole hoping for the state to progress forward in other tracks and other activities at the end of the business development chain in the state's animal and plant production sectors.

In a field visit with, H.E Prof El Dukheri and the accompanying team of experts visited the ZADI project for animal products in the Nile River state to review the efforts of the state in partnership with the private sector in achieving self-sufficiency in animal products (dairy, poultry, meat and eggs) and open prospects for export abroad.
