The Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) and in cooperation with the Omani Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries organized a training course in the field of Employment of Information and Communication Systems in Sustainable Development, from the 11th to the 13th of November 2108 in Oman. The participants were 21 specialists from the ministry’s’ directorates and departments in different governorates.

 The course covered topics such as agricultural extension and rural development, climate change and food security, smart agriculture and conservation agriculture, information and communication systems in agriculture, use of information and communication systems for the dissemination of environmentally friendly technologies (opportunities & challenges).
