The Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD), inaugurated the training course in the field of insect-borne parasitic diseases in cooperation with the Qatari Ministry of Municipality and Environment represented by the Animal Wealth Department in the Agriculture and Fisheries Affairs Sector, from the 3rd to the 7th of November 2019 in Doha, Qatar. The participants were 27 veterinarians, specialists, experts and officials of units from different livestock management departments (veterinary services, veterinary quarries, animal production, veterinary laboratories).

The course aimed to identify the types of the most important insect vectors and methods of control, the reasons for their rapid spread and methods of diagnosis of parasitic diseases transmitted by insects to humans and animals in order to raise the capacity of workers in this area.
