The Director General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) H.E Prof. Ibrahim Adam El Dukhiri met the Secretary General of the National Initiative for Agricultural Development in Bahrain H.E Sheikha Maram Bint Essa Al Khalifa during his visit to the Bahrain Gardens Fair. He expressed his admiration for the exhibition and its development during the past years. Moreover, he admired the exhibits various agricultural products and the theme of the exhibition which was " FOOD SAFETY". He also praised the role of the exhibition in promoting the Bahraini agricultural sector locally and globally and its role in educating Bahraini citizens in modern methods used in agriculture.

H.E Prof. El Dukhiri presented to H.E Sheikha Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa the shield of AOAD for her great efforts in supporting and developing the agricultural sector in Bahrain. H.E Sheikha Maram Bint Essa Al Khalifa received the shield on behalf of H.E Sheikha Sabeeka.
