The hosting agreement of the premises of AOAD regional office in the Arab Mashriq region was signed on Sunday 27/04/2014, in Amman, Jordan, between the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD), represented by H.E Dr. Tariq Moosa Al-Zadjali, the director general, and the government of the Hashemite kingdom of Jordan, represented by H.E Dr. Atif Al-Zubi, the Jordanian minister for Agriculture.

 The agreement stipulates that the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan will provide furnished office premises for AOAD regional office in the Arab Mashriq region, secure means of transport for the office and facilitate access to the training facilities of the Ministry and the National Centre for Agricultural Research and extension.

On the other hand AOAD will be bound under the agreement to run the office and appoint and supervise its chief and staff members. It shall be fully responsible for their appointment and termination of services.

 The regional office shall enjoy the privileges and immunities as per the League of Arab States (LAS) privileges and immunities act.

 AOAD regional office for the Mashriq region will supervise AOAD programs and activities in Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Syria.
